Directions:
In this assignment we will start our exploration of web tools. You will be posting a critique of a web tool to the blog. Your critique should include the following:

• Name of the web tool
• URL
• Cost : Trial info
• Description (1 paragraph)
• Information about special features (1 paragraph)
• Test drive the tool and report on what you liked, or did not like about the tool (1 paragraph)

You can pick one of the tools below, or pick your own. Once you have selected, email me (enyasi@gmail.com ) so I can make sure no one else selects your tool.

Week 1: Assignment 1

Assignment 1

Due April 8, 2008 Week 1

Directions:
For assignment 1, we will be creating a one page site all about you. The page is to be hand coded so for this assignment, avoid any WYSIWYG tools although if you would like to use a graphics tool, you may do so. Creativity is highly encouraged apply some design to the assignment, not just a plain page.

Bring your completed page to the class on Tuesday; we will be uploading it to a server in class.

Requirements:
The page must include the following:

• At least one image, the image does not have to be of you, but you should select something that represents you. (Try to use non copyrighted images, if not your own)
• A list(actual html list) of your 5 favorite movies, books or TV shows
• Links to your 5 favorite web sites
• Formatted paragraph about where you see your web skills taking you in the next 5 years
• Formatted paragraph biography about you (only include information you feel comfortable sharing)
• One correctly coded table ( you can use it for page formatting, or as a shell for one of your lists)
• Color (color can be added in the font, background, tables etc. – regardless of how you incorporate the color, it should work.
